The mission of the Cal State East Bay Center for Economic Education is to promote and provide quality economic education programs and materials. We work toward this goal by: 

  • conducting workshops for teachers and other audiences here and abroad
  • undertaking research and evaluation in the field of economic education
  • developing economics curriculum materials

The Center is part of a national network of university-based centers run by economists and educators dedicated to increasing economic understanding in the local, national, and international communities. , is Professor of Economics Emeritus and Director of the Center for Economic Education at Cal State East Bay.
