Please join the Center for Sport and Social Justice as we host Ben Gucciardi, the Founder
and Oakland Director of the award-winning “Soccer Without Borders” non-profit
organization. Ben will share his work leading community programs using soccer as a
vehicle to provide sporting, social, and educational learning experiences for newcomer
boys and girls in our local communities. This event is free and is being co-sponsored by
the Diversity and Inclusion Student Center (DISC) at CSUEB and also assisted by the CSSJ
student club.
This event will be followed by soccer exhibition matches featuring CSUEB faculty, staff,
and students as well as Soccer Without Borders boys and girls on Thursday, April 30 on
the CSUEB campus.
