Holiday closure information

All California State University, East Bay academic and administrative offices at the Hayward and Concord campuses will close at noon on Monday, Dec. 21, for the remainder of the calendar year. This two-week period is a combination of regularly scheduled holidays and furlough days that resulted from state budget cuts. The Oakland Center will close Saturday, Dec. 19. Offices will reopen Monday, Jan. 4, 2010 at regular business hours for the start of the winter quarter.
University Police Dispatch Office and patrols will remain fully staffed. The Student Health Center will close Monday, Dec. 21. Pioneer Heights Student Housing will remain open to residents only with reduced staff. The dining commons will serve residents on a limited schedule. All other campus dining locations are closed until Jan. 4.
The University Bookstore on the Hayward campus will operate on a holiday schedule, closing Dec. 25-27 and Jan. 1. The Concord campus bookstore will be open Monday and Wednesday evenings through Dec. 31.

- Dec. 21: 7:45 a.m. - 5 p.m.
- Dec. 22-23: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
- Dec. 24: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

- Dec. 28-30: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
- Dec. 31: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
- Jan. 1: Closed
- Jan. 2: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
- Jan. 3: 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Concord Bookstore Hours
- Dec. 14-31: Open Mondays & Wednesdays, 4-7 p.m.
- Jan. 2: Open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Beginning Jan. 4: Open Monday-Thursday, 10 a.m. to 7pm
