CSUEB Resumes CCAA Play with Four-Game Series Against Cal State Stanislaus

HAYWARD, Calif. - The Cal State East Bay baseball team, 0-4 in CCAA play and 3-7-1 overall, will face Cal State Stanislaus in a four-game series on Feb. 26-28. The two teams will play a single game on Friday in Turlock. The four-game series will resume on Saturday with a doubleheader in Hayward beginning at 11 a.m. The series finale will be played on Feb. 28 with a single game in Turlock.
As a team, the Pioneers are hitting .302 and have a .962 fielding percentage. Stephen Gatehouse leads the Pioneers in hitting with a .500 batting average. Richie Gonzalez has a .381 batting average while Nick McManus is hitting .326.
Levi Josewski, batting .316 for the season, has a team-best three home runs and 13 RBI. Josh Rush has two home-runs in 17 plate appearances.
Devin Grigg hasn't allowed a run in three pitching appearances and has a 1-0 record with one save. Victor Guerrero has a staff-high 14 strikeouts.
