Continuing education offers new one-year MBA, part time social work master's degree, plus more than 60 certificate programs

One-year, full-time MBA program

This new accelerated degree program is designed for young professionals looking to put their careers on the fast track. In a tough job market and unpredictable economy, an MBA offers one of the best returns on investment available. Part-time Master of Social Work program

This fully accredited three-year program specializes in community mental health across the lifespan. Classes are offered evenings and weekends at CSUEB's conveniently located downtown Oakland campus — some with a hybrid or online format to fit into busy schedules. Community mental health social workers provide individual, family, and group services to children, youth, adults, and older adults in a variety of settings. These settings can include schools, mental health clinics, homeless shelters, youth centers, hospitals, jails and prisons, and community-based organizations.
