Independent thinkers featured in fall Cal State East Bay Magazine

The fall issue of Cal State East Bay Magazine, focusing on a tradition of independent thinking among faculty, students and alumni, is now available online.
Readers will meet members of the university community who have stepped outside the lines of conventional thought and activity to pursue new paths, suggest unexpected solutions and fuel an influx of research grants to the university, including awards from the National Science Foundation and NASA.
