The Department of Risk Management and Internal Control has announced that, effective immediately, the Student Disability Resource Center has a new name - Accessibility Services.

The name change reflects the department’s broadened mission which now includes providing accessibility and resource services to the entire campus community.  In an effort to ensure an inclusive campus with accountability, Accessibility Services will focus on promoting the dignity, self-awareness, and self-advocacy of all individuals with disabilities throughout the University, and in its activities.

The appointment of Catherine (Katie) Brown as interim director was announced. She will lead the efforts of Accessibility Services.  In addition, Jeremy Olguin will serve as the accessibility services coordinator.
