Army Spec. Jonathan J. Zimmermann has graduated from nine weeks of basic infantry training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga.
He is the son of Jan and Steve Zimmermann, of Fremont.
Zimmermann graduated in 2007 from Coil Charter School High School, Fremont, and received a bachelor's degree in 2009 from California State University, East Bay in Hayward.
