Rami was encouraged to become an administrator and was invited to participate in a program at Cal State East Bay. That invitation opened many new doors for her as she became a principal, coordinator for GATE, secondary literacy and Beginning Teacher Support and Assessment in the Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District. “In my career, I have been very fortunate to have been supported by many individuals who saw my potential before I did. Since that time I have made it my personal mission to do the same for others. I always try to encourage others to reach for new opportunities and to see the limitless possibilities that exist.
In my life I have always been inspired by the words of Eleanor Roosevelt who said, ‘The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.’ It is my hope students will challenge themselves to strive for excellence and to express their talents and skills in a way that will positively impact our world.”
