Hillbarn Theatre and the Foster City Library will examine the life and career of opera legend Maria Callas during tonight’s “Barn Talks.”

Hillbarn Theatre Music Director Greg Sudmeier will moderate a forum that will feature Music Theatre Conservatory at California State University East Bay Co-Director Marc Jacobs, who studied under Callas master class at the prestigious Julliard School in New York City’s Lincoln Center.

Callas is the subject of the play "Master Class," which is being performed at Hillbarn Theatre through November 6th.

The hour-long event will be held at 7 p.m. in the Port Room at the Foster City Library on 1000 East Hillsdale Boulevard. Admission to this event is free and complimentary refreshments will be served. A drawing will take place to win tickets for "Master Class" at Hillbarn Theatre.

"Barn Talks" is a series of discussions centering around the themes and creators of America's greatest stage works.
