New students have a place for asking questions

As students new to Cal State East Bay come to the Hayward campus for the first week of the winter 2012 quarter, they can depend on “Smooth Transitions” for answering all their questions and directing them to campus services available to all students.
Smooth Transitions, set up by the university’s Student Life and Leadership Program, has scheduled an “Ask Me Information Table” each day during the opening week (Jan. 9-13) of the winter quarter.
In addition, workshop sessions have been scheduled for transfer students wanting to know more about academic advising, financial aid, campus technology services, campus life activities and health and wellness programs.
