33 art pieces selected for 'Emerging Artists' show at CSUEB's University Art Gallery

“Emerging Artists Exhibition,” a selection of works by Bay Area fine art students, will be shown in the University Art Gallery on the Hayward Campus of California State University, East Bay, 25800 Carlos Bee Blvd.

The show continues through April 14. Gallery hours are 11 a.m.-4 p.m.  Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, and 2-7 p.m. Thursdays. Admission is free.

Michelle Mansour, director of Root Division in San Francisco, selected 33 artworks from 99 submitted, including paintings, prints, alternative process photographs, mixed media works, and drawings. Pieces selected are from students at CSUEB, Chabot College, Diablo Valley College, Foothill College, John F. Kennedy University, Modesto Junior College, Sacramento City College, the San Francisco Art Institute, San Francisco State University, San Jose State University, Solano Community College, and University of California, Berkeley Extension.
