Cal State East Bay will continue to accept applications for admission through April 1 for the fall 2012 academic quarter from upper-division transfer students. CSUEB had earlier announced the undergraduate transfer application deadline as March 1.
The previously published freshman application deadline of April 1 remains the same.
CSUEB remains the only California State University campus in Northern California still accepting applications from both freshman and transfer candidates.
“We still have the capacity to accept more transfer application,” said Greg Smith, associate vice president for Planning and Enrollment Management for CSUEB. “Undergraduates planning to take upper-division coursework are encouraged to apply to be considered for the academic quarter beginning in September.”

When applying for the fall 2012 quarter, transfer students must do the following:
- Include a $55 nonrefundable application fee; and
- Request official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended and arrange to have them mailed directly to CSUEB or hand-carry them in their original sealed envelope to Cal State East Bay’s Enrollment Information Center on the Hayward Campus or to the Academic Services Center on the Concord Campus.
“Applicants are required to meet all deadlines and requirements as published on the CSUEB Web site () so an admission decision may be rendered and students can enroll in classes on a timely manner,” Smith said. “An application may be cancelled if all requirements are not met.”
Although the Office of Admissions will continue to process documents after the deadline on a space-available basis, applicants are encouraged to send their documents to CSUEB as soon as possible.
