CSUEB Entrepreneurship Association to host panel of women business leaders May 17

A panel discussion aimed at educating young women to become future business owners will be hosted by the Cal State East Bay Entrepreneurship Association from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, May 17.
The program will be held in room 311 of the Old University Union on the Hayward Campus of CSUEB, 25800 Carlos Bee Blvd. Admission is free and the public is invited.
The panel will be made up of six members of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), which has a membership of more than 7,000 spread over 70 chapters across the United States.
“The National Association of Women Business owners is the unified voice of America’s more than 10 million women-owned businesses representing the fastest growing segment of the economy,” said Lynn Paringer, professor of economics at Cal State East Bay. “With far-reaching clout and impact, NAWBO is a one-stop resource for propelling women business owners into greater economic, social and political spheres of power worldwide.”
Participating NAWBO panelists for the program at CSUEB will include Caterina Rindi, co-founder of Mo Foods; Elizabeth Bachman, a consultant who formerly was an international opera director; Carolyn Pistone, founder and managing director of Green Key Commercial Real Estate; Kay Robinson, president and CEO of Insight Intuitive Consulting; Norma LaRosa, founder and president of Roozt Inc.; and Shannon Presson, founder of True Self Worth, a consulting firm.
