Art faculty, staff display their latest creations at show through Dec. 1

Paintings, ceramics, sculpture and more are on display in the 51st annual Cal State East Bay Art Faculty and Staff Exhibition in the University Art Gallery on the university's Hayward Campus, 25800 Carlos Bee Blvd.
The free exhibition, which opened Oct. 23, runs through Dec. 1 in the gallery on the first floor of the Art & Education Building. Hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Wednesday and Saturday, and 2-7 p.m. Thursdays. The Gallery will be closed Nov. 12 for the observance of Veteran’s Day, and Nov. 22-23 for Thanksgiving.
The exhibition includes works by James Allison, Jennifer Brazelton, Malka Helfman, Michael Henninger, Bryan Higgins, Phillip Hoffstetter, Scott Hopkins, Kirk LeClaire, Katherine Lee, Mark Levy, Grace Munakata, Ian Pollock, John Poole, Philip Ringler, James Saxon, Dickson Schneider, and Sharon Wickham.
Hofstetter, professor and chair of art, hopes the campus and community will take advantage of this opportunity to see the varied directions of a very talented group of artists.
Parking on campus is $2 per hour at meters in the CSUEB parking lots.
