Chris Robinson performs a Tribute To Pat Metheny - Jazz Behind The Scenes

Each month, the CSU East Bay Jazz Studies Program will host an evening (starts at 7 p.m.) of jazz performance and interaction where the audience is invited to explore the unique processes, interpretations, and inspiration behind the scenes of jazz with guest artists from the Bay Area jazz scene. This month's event features Chris Robinson presenting a Pat Metheny tribute.

Chris Robinson is an Australian guitarist and composer known for his ability in numerous musical styles and genres across the globe. Residing in the California since 2004, his work as a performing artist and, on occasion, as a music educator takes him throughout the United States, Eurasia, and Australia. Performing on acoustic and electric instruments, Chris's focus on diversity in music has led to countless collaboration's with jazz and rock musicians, Indian classical musicians, as well as performers from numerous other ethnic traditions and backgrounds.
