Jurden Alexander wins awards for television production work in New York

Former McNeil resident Jurden Alexander recently won awards for outstanding television production work in the Ithaca, New York area. 

Alexander graduated from Southside High School in McNeil in 1965. He earned a degree in social psychology from California State University-East Bay (Hayward) in 1975.

Now retired in Ithaca, Alexander enjoys videography as a past time.

Alexander received three PEGASYS awards celebrating the best of public, governmental and educational access television production in Tompkins County, N.Y. The awards ceremony was broadcast by PEGASYS TV, a service of Time Warner Cable.

Alexander shared awards with Weis van Leuken in three categories. They won in Field Videographer for “Over the Shoulder,” and in Short Subject and Best Public Access for “The Death Penalty – From the Outside In.”
