Positions open for Alumni Association Board of Directors

The Cal State East Bay Alumni Association is seeking three to four new board members for two-year terms beginning July 2013. Board members work together to reach out to and engage alumni and students and support the university. Elected by Association members, Board members represent diverse ages, backgrounds, majors, professions, and locations around the Bay Area.
The alumni board meets bi-monthly, connecting with each other in between meetings to complete projects. A typical time commitment is three to six hours per month. Ongoing priorities include alumni and student outreach at campus, community, and alumni events, Homecoming, graduation celebrations, and career support programs. Additional priorities will be determined by the board in summer.
