The Pleasanton Unified School District is pleased to announce that Mrs. Julie Berglin has been named as the new principal at Mohr Elementary School. Julie replaces Mr. Ben Fobert, who has accepted a high school principal position in another school district.

Ms. Berglin began her teaching career in Pleasanton in 1997 teaching 5th grade at Fairlands Elementary School. This past school year she served as an interim principal at Fairlands during the principal's absence.

Julie received her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from U.C. Davis, her Masters in Teaching Leadership from St, Mary's College, and her Administrative Credential from California State University, East Bay.

Julie experience includes extensive training and experience in using instructional technology, reading intervention strategies, Reader and Writer Workshop training, and Site Plan development.

Julie is very excited to begin in her new role and looks forward to meeting and working with the Mohr Elementary School community.
