Terry Jones, professor emeritus of sociology and former chair of Cal State East Bay's Master's Department of Social Work, was interviewed extensively for this news story that aired on KTVU Channel 2's 10 p.m. newscast Tuesday, July 16. The story analyzes the reasons why Oakland attracts violent protests, the most recent following the controversial verdict in the George Zimmerman trial in Florida.
