CSUEB among nation's top 100 schools in NCSA Collegiate Power Rankings

For the first time, Cal State East Bay has been ranked among the nation's top 100 Division II institutions in the National Collegiate Scouting Association (NCSA) Power Rankings. The Pioneers appear on the 2013 list at No. 100.
Cal State East Bay is one of just two schools from the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) to be ranked in the top 100. University of California, San Diego ranked No. 1 on the list for the seventh consecutive year, followed by Colorado School of Mines at No. 2 and Simon Fraser University at No. 3.
NCSA's Power Rankings assess the academic and athletics standards of all NCAA programs across the country. The rankings are calculated by averaging a school's standing, its NCAA student-athlete graduation rate and its U.S. News & World Report ranking.
The NCSA Power Rankings list, now in its 11th year, was developed to help prospective student-athletes and their families evaluate the relative strengths of the top colleges and universities at the Division I, II and III levels.
Duke University topped the overall list, followed by Amherst College, Stanford, Notre Dame and Williams College in a tie for second place. View the comprehensive list of online.
