Nominate an outstanding employee for the Vivian Cunniffe Award
- October 10, 2013
Do you have a colleague that goes above and beyond to accomplish his or her job and support the university’s mission? Nominations are being accepted through Oct. 14 for the annual Vivian Cunniffe Award, which honors an outstanding staff member. All nominees will be recognized and the award will be presented at the Staff Recognition Celebration in January.
Nominees must demonstrate a professional attitude, willingness to assume responsibility, commitment to campus life and a pride in “a job well done.” The actions of the individual with both students and fellow employees should reflect these principles, helping make Cal State East Bay a special place to work and to be educated.
All non-management staff members with a minimum of five years of service at Cal State East Bay, including Foundation, University Union and Associated Students Inc. staff, are eligible for the award. Any university employee may nominate a coworker.
Submit nominations no longer than one page, including a signed statement detailing the nominee’s qualifications based on the criteria, by the close of business Monday. Petitions are not considered an appropriate form for a nomination.
Send written submissions to Wendy Reardon in the Human Resources Office, Student Services and Administration Building, SA 2600.
Volunteers interested in serving on the selection committee may contact Codie Howe at codie.howe@csueastbay.edu.
