Emily Montanez named to National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-American Scholar-Athletic team

Emily Montanez has been named to the 2013 National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-America Scholar-Athletic team.
Montanez, a Salinas High graduate, spent four years at Cal State-East Bay, compiling a 4.0 grade point average in each quarter of her senior year.
The first basemen drove in 77 runs during her four-year college career, hitting .268 with nine home runs.
