Three Pioneer women's basketball players earn all-conference honors

Senior forward Brianna Terrance became the first player in the history of the Cal State East Bay women's basketball program to earn California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) first team honors. Her teammates, juniors Danielle Peacon (post) and Stephanie Lopez (guard), earned All-CCAA second team honors as the Pioneers were rewarded with three all-conference selections for the first time since joining the conference in 2009.
Terrance has been named All-CCAA twice after earning a second team nod as a junior. She currently tops the CCAA with 446 total points this season and ranks fourth among league players, averaging 15.4 points per game. On Senior Night Feb. 22, she became the third women's basketball player in school history to score 1,000 career points.
Peacon is one of two Pioneers to earn all-conference honors in her first season with Cal State East Bay. She currently ranks second in the CCAA in shooting, making nearly 52 percent of her field goal attempts. Peacon leads the league in scoring, averaging 24.1 points per 40 minutes, and ranks third with 42 shot blocks on the season.
Lopez has made an immediate impact in her inaugural season with the Pioneers. She currently ranks in the CCAA's top five in steals, assists and free throws made. For the season she is averaging 11.6 points, 4.4 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game.
Cal State East Bay earned its third straight CCAA postseason appearance thanks to a 13-9 record in conference games this season.
