University Art Gallery to host annual juried student exhibition through June 12

- May 13, 2014
The best art work produced by Cal State East Bay students this year is on display for the 2014 Annual Juried Art Exhibition in the University Art Gallery, located on CSUEB’s Hayward campus, 25800 Carlos Bee Blvd. Admission to the gallery is free and the public is invited.
The exhibition will run through June 12. It provides any Cal State East Bay student who has taken an art class in the past year an opportunity to submit up to two art pieces to be considered for inclusion in the show.
For this year’s exhibit, the juror is Shannon Tremble, curator of the Paule Anglim Gallery, located in downtown San Francisco.
Students whose works are accepted into the exhibition are eligible for awards donated by Cal State East Bay alumni and local businesses, according to Philip Ringler, gallery curator and exhibition director.
The University Art Gallery is located adjacent to room 108 on the first floor of the Arts and Education Building.
The gallery is open during exhibitions Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
