“This is showing how Cal State East Bay has managed to bring together a change that involves multiple departments, multiple colleges, and has support from all levels of the university,” said Stephanie Couch, Bayer executive director, Institute for STEM Education at CSUEB.
The article in Peer Review was written by Couch, Biological Sciences Associate Professor Caron Inouye, Math Associate Professor Chung-Hsing Ouyang and Institute for STEM Education Lead Researcher Elizabeth Yeager.
Couch says she hopes Cal East Bay’s example will inspire other colleges to integrate STEM education as well.
