CSUEB Staff Members to Appear in National Webinar

- August 11, 2015
Cal State East Bay’s Academic Advising and Career Education (AACE) department and the College of Business and Economics (CBE) are highlighted in a national webinar sponsored by the Education Advisory Board (EAB) this week.
Cal State East Bay uses the EAB Student Success Collaborative software as an analytical tool to assist advisors when working with students on graduation plans. The webinar is advertised as “… an advanced web-conference to hear advisors share strategies from their high-performing campaigns. You'll learn how to set goals for your SSC campaign, track its impact, and communicate success.”
Jennifer Aure, coordinator of the CBE’s Student Success Center, and George Hanna, Academic Advisor/Career Counselor in AACE, will describe their successes using the EAB software to assist East Bay students. Hanna will also discuss three projects AACE staff members are doing this summer.
“We are delighted that the folks from the Education Advisory Board have recognized the success we are having in using their analytical software, and are giving us the opportunity to share our experiences with others across the country,” says Lawrence Bliss, director of AACE.
The webinar is scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 12 at 10 a.m. Detailed information can be found on the .
