- November 24, 2015
CSU East Bay Theatre and Dance Department hosted the 10th anniversary of ICE/ICE-X, an annual holiday dance celebration, Dec. 4-5.
ICE performances were Friday, Dec. 4 at 8 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 5 at 2 p.m., and the ICE-X performance was Saturday, Dec. 5 at 8 p.m. All performances were in room 140 of the Physical Education building on the Hayward campus.
ICE featured two different programs of dance works by faculty, students and guest artists while ICE-X takes audiences into more experimental realms. The African dance class performed with live drumming, and the CSUEB Inclusive Interdisciplinary Ensemble put on a completely solar-powered performance, telling stories of creation and birth from diverse cultures.
