Cal State East Bay Connects Students with Employers

- January 25, 2016
Cal State East Bay’s Academic Advising and Career Education Department (AACE) will host the Winter Career and Internship Fair on Jan. 28 from 4-7 p.m. in the New University Union.
“Career fairs are designed for our students and recent graduates to network with employers from a wide range of industries,” said Sylvia Head, AACE Employer Relations Coordinator. “Since companies are attending to meet their recruiting goals, it’s a great opportunity for students to learn about obtaining employment directly from the representatives of these participating organizations.”
This is one of five career fairs put on each year, but the only one that is scheduled in the early evening. According to Head, this is to give students who already work full time the opportunity to participate.
“I hope students come with an open mind and a desire to explore the different careers and employment opportunities that are available for those seeking internships or preparing to start their careers,” Head said.
