Amelia Earhart disappeared over the central Pacific near Howland Island in 1937. She was a famous aviation pioneer, an author, and an advocate for women's rights. Her life prior to 1937, a wild and adventurous one, was well known to the public. But facts regarding her disappearance are thin and speculations abound. Michael Colleran, MBA, UI, retired B-52 aircraft commander, will discuss the latest theories regarding her untimely demise and explore the controversies surrounding it.
