Rafael Hernandez
The graduate multimedia program at Cal State East Bay is recognized for its creative use of cutting edge technology and, now, one of its professors is getting noticed.
Ansca, a leading mobile app development firm based in Palo Alto, gave a recent shout out on their company blog to Rafael Hernandez, chair of the CSUEB music department and director of the multimedia graduate program. Hernandez created a tutorial for their Corona SDK, a mobile development framework for creating high-performance, multimedia rich applications and games for the iPhone, iPad, and Android.
CSU East Bay professor Dr. Rafael Hernandez has been on a serious Corona roll lately! Last week, he released this video tutorial on coding a simple orb-smashing game from start to finish. Full run time on the video is just under 39:30 — whoa.
