Theatre set
Richard Olmsted, production manager/designer for the CSUEB Theatre & Dance Department, created the set for the current Aurora Theatre production of “A Delicate Balance,” playing through Oct. 16 in Berkeley.
Sounding a bit star struck, Olmsted said that Albee, who won the first of three Pulitzer Prizes in 1967 for this play, attended opening night.
Albee was quoted as saying following the performance, "American theater, intelligent theater, is alive and well in the regional houses like Aurora, not Broadway."
The production, featuring Ken Grantham as Tobias, and Jamie Jones as his sister-in-law Claire, is garnering rave reviews, such as this at:

Olmsted has designed 28 shows for Aurora over 19 years, and is very proud to be a part of their 20th season.
