How to Register for a CLEP Exam

Limited space available, register as soon as possible.

There is no refund for this exam.

Before the Test Date

Submit the following via online registration at least 24 hours prior to the test date:

  • The $20.00 Test Administration Student Charge made payable to 'CSU East Bay', must be paid by Master card or Visa Credit or Debit Card.
    AND
  • The $80.00 CLEP Examination Student Charge, for each test, must be paid by Master card or Visa Credit or Debit Card.
    AND
  • An additional non-refundable $ 30.00 Student Charge is required for those taking an optional essay. Please make Check or money order for $20.00 payable to 'CSU East Bay' and for $10.00 payable to CLEP. Contact Testing Office 3 weeks in advance to order and schedule essay exam.
