California State University, East Bay (CSUEB) welcomes all people who have served in the United States military and values the sacrifices made in defense of our country. Veteran Students Services is dedicated to providing comprehensive support for CSUEB's veteran students through two main areas: (1) personalized academic counseling, including advisement, career planning, scholarship guidance, graduate school advice, and support in balancing academics with personal life, and (2) assistance with educational benefits, including processing and coaching on effective use of VA benefits and other resources to meet educational and career goals.
The program also offers workshops both on and off campus, collaborates with external agencies for additional resources, promotes networking and community among veteran students, and works with the CSUEB Student Veteran Organization to advocate for their needs at the university.
Veterans Resource Center Location: LI 2200 (in the building directly across from Starbucks).
Hours: M-Th (10:00am - 4:00pm) and Friday (10:00am - 3:00pm).
The Veterans Lounge is equipped with study desks, a microwave, computers, snacks, coffee, refrigerator, and much more.

Students (veterans and dependents of veterans) who are eligible to use VA Education Benefits must complete the Veterans Educational Benefits Certification Request (VEBCR) form in MyCSUEB. The form must be completed each semester after enrolling in classes*. Please refer to the How To Guide for Certification for more instructions on submitting certification requests through .
*The VEBCR form only needs to be completed if you’re enrolled and requesting VA payment.
