Cal State East Bay uses self-reported information and a review of partial transcripts with in-progress coursework to determine initial admission eligibility. All initial admission offers are conditional and contingent upon the completion of in-progress coursework and final review of all admission requirements, including evaluation of all official transcripts.

Most applications meet the conditions of admission but occasionally some may not.

Common reasons are:

– Official final transcripts that do not reflect the courses and grades indicated on your admission application

– Failure to complete planned or in-progress courses  listed on your admission application

– Your cumulative grade point average falling below the required minimum
