Undergraduate Student Advising

FIRST-YEAR STUDENTS

First-year students in our college are broken into six groups -- cohorts -- by major field. You will take three classes with your cohort during your first semester. After that, your CLASS-GE and Major Advisors will help you draw a graduation plan.

TRANSFER STUDENTS

Transfer students should reach out to their Major Advisor ASAP in order to coordinate their graduation plan. In addition, you will be required to complete Upper-Division GEs, Overlays, and the UWR at CSUEB. The Student Service Center will help you: 1) confirm that your transfer units are properly reflected, 2) draft a plan for any missing Lower-Division GE units if needed, and 3) advise you in your Upper-Division GEs.

CLASS STUDENT ADVISING CENTER

Here's where you will find the people who can help you with the above! Come to MI Hall 4006 or email class_ssc@csueastbay.edu for help in locating where to go next.
