Private Loans
Commercial banks offer a variety of loan options for college students and parents. Take time to research several sources and compare rates and terms; the interest rates and associated costs of commercial loans may be higher than other types of student loans.
California State University, East Bay does not have a preferred list of lenders, but we do offer a list of lenders that our students have utilized in the past.
We have implemented a new tool this year to provide students with more information about private loans. Our top priority is to ensure our Pioneers are able to make educated and informed decisions when seeking additional resources to cover their unmet educational expenses.
Note: If you are a student enrolled in a (CE) course/program, for private loan financing options.
