Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act Program (WIOA)
California State University East Bay in partnership with Ohlone College Tri-Cities has an education grant through the WIOA Program, a federal grant sponsored by the Alameda County Workforce Development Board.
This grant could potentially provide partial or full funding for a CSU East Bay certificate program!
Who qualifies?
- Must be 18 years or older
- Unemployed or underemployed (earning below the living wage of $35.11)
- Alameda County resident (excluding Oakland) or laid off from an Alameda County employer within the last 6 months.
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Selective Service Verification (males only)
- Unemployment Insurance Verification (if applicable)
