We will begin accepting applications for Fall 2025 beginning October 1, 2024.

Fall 2025 - Masters in Public Administration

  • The Public Administration program is now held 100% online in Synchronous / Asynchronous format. 
  • Deadline for all application materials and PRIORITY admission consideration January 30, 2025 by  5:00 pm.
  • Deadline for all application materials and SPACE AVAILABLE admission consideration is
    June 1st, 2025 by 5:00 pm.


    The online  application, all transcripts, two letters of recommendation, resume and statement of purpose must be submitted by this date.

    All applications can be submitted electronically to Publicadmin@csueastbay.edu

Application cycle = Oct 1 through June 1 (or until all available slots are filled) 

Admissions cycle = Oct through July 15 


A waitlist: applies to the current admissions cycle only and provides no priority for future admission cycles. 


  • Admissions decisions are made on a rolling basis in the order that completed applications are received. 

  • A “completed application” includes all of the following: 
    • CalState 91Â鶹ÌìÃÀapp, 
    • Transcripts (be sure to also include any transcripts of accredited college coursework that was ever completed), 
    • Statement of purpose, 
    • Resume,  
    • Two letters of recommendation (on letterhead) 

  • Once our available slots are filled, applicants who have submitted completed applications will be asked whether they do not wish to be placed on the WL. 

  • WL position is determined by the order that completed applications were received. 

  • Admissions cycle concludes July 15, which is when we will no longer be admitting applicants from WL at which point everyone on the WL will be informed that all admission decisions have been made. 

  • If not admitted, instructions for reusing already submitted documents if the applicant wishes to submit a future application will be included in this final notification. (generally we will retain application materials for at least five years).
