University Shuttle Schedule - Hayward Hills Campus
CSUEB Shuttle
The University provides complimentary shuttle service between CSUEB and the Hayward and Castro Valley BART Stations. The service is primarily paid for from parking citation revenues. The rest of the funding comes from the University parking department. The University parking department is a self-supported operation, which means the parking department receives no funding from the University or the State.
During the Semester, the shuttles run Monday-Sunday* and are available only to current students, faculty and staff. (Members of the public can use AC Transit Line 60 instead)
All our shuttles are equipped with wheelchair lifts and are accessible per the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
The Castro Valley BART Shuttle can be boarded at any campus shuttle stop.
You can board the Hayward BART Shuttle at the Recreation and Wellness Center (RAW) bus stop ONLY.
The Hayward BART Shuttles also make pick-ups along B St. and C St. Monday - Sunday*.
The demand for the shuttles is high during certain times and all riders should leave extra time when commuting to or from campus during these peak periods.
*Note: The CSUEB Shuttle does not run when the University is closed. View the University Holiday Schedule.
Shuttle times may be effected by traffic or weather conditions. While every effort is made to stick to the schedule, we cannot guarantee the times.

Shuttle Guidelines:
- Shuttle use is only available to current students, faculty and staff. (Members of the public must use AC Transit Line 60 instead)
- Show your physical or digital BayCard when you enter the shuttle.
- Minors, Infants, Strollers and Baby Seats are not allowed on the shuttles due to insurance liability. The only exception are enrolled students under the age of 18.
Shuttle Tips:
- Arrive at the designated shuttle stop 10-15 minutes before the scheduled time.
- Make sure to line up as shown by the signs posted at the shuttle stop.
- Have your CSUEB ID Card (BayCard) out and ready to show as you board shuttle.
- Boarding allowed only for riders with a valid CSUEB ID Card (BayCard).
- The shuttle has a maximum passenger capacity approximately 30-34. If the shuttle has reached its maximum capacity you will have to wait for the next shuttle or for the AC Transit (fee applicable).
- At certain times of the day (especially in the morning) there can be a higher volume of riders. Arrive for an earlier shuttle, in case that one you want is full. This way you'll have time to make the next one and still get to campus on time.
Shuttle Updates:
- Free WiFi on all shuttles! Look for signs inside the shuttle with the Network name & password.
