91麻豆天美apping for Private Funding

University Advancement can assist faculty, staff, and students with funding source identification, proposal development, and submission to corporate and private foundation sponsors. They also assist with award approvals, reporting, and relationship management if notification of funding is received.

As a first step, CSUEB Principal Investigators who are planning to submit a proposal for an upcoming deadline will need to refer to this simple workflow in order to determine whether University Advancement (UA) or the Office of Sponsored Research and Programs (ORSP) will process the award.

Funding Proposal Flowchart. If your project is 1) A government grant (federal, state, county); 2) Involves human or animal subjects; or 3) Involves subcontracts or sub-agreements, your proposal should be managed by ORSP. If your proposal involves none of the above, it can be routed through UA.

If your proposal can be routed through UA, please email Kate Cowan at kate.cowan@csueastbay.edu to get started.

If your proposal should be managed by ORSP, please refer to these instructions for how to start a proposal in Cayuse.

ORSP provides many resources and templates for pre-award and post-award grant management that will be useful for principal investigators.
